ola!

TODAY was random, but really nice - it began with me seriously wanting to support the NUS architecture students at the ISTANA art event 2009, where an exhibition of a thousand umbrellas was taking place at the swan pond, istana. but sadly, no one was free or keen. so, i had to give it a miss as it would be quite pathetic to go for it alone :( then i wanted to meet sophia and suee at the zouk flea market that afternoon, but i didnt in the end cos i was rather lazy and the weather was just too freakin hot. in the evening, i called up the dunearn peeeps for a meet up and surprisingly they (fyedee,ilyas and fidah) agreed, este couldn't make it cos she had to study for something the next day. and that was when my day (or rather, night) began!

we went to this extremely impressive place with a great view. i'll let some of the pictures do the talking. and this place is officially my next favourite hangout - it's so secluded, tucked in the western side of singapore. AND it's at a country club! woots* it's windy, has a great view of the sea, the moon and the stars. and we were just in time to witness sunset. nice! it's the kind of place you would want to run off to when life feels like shit or when you have had a bad day :) a place to escape all that. very cooool. in fact, i can just lie down there the entire day, with my ipod. nice - i'm giving it a 3 thumbs up. marina barrage and sg flyer - no more!

my friends (although only 3 responded today) truly made my day :)
