a brainless excursion

honestly speaking, ever since recess week, i have not exactly had time to breathe. there's tonnes of work every day and i've been working on reports and essays for FSD1201 and SSA2219 all week long. at this point in time, my academics take precedence over other things --> hence my hiatus from YEP activities. plus, genes exam is this SATURDAY! gosh, i have been revising and studying. it's just that especially at this level, 30 seemingly do-able MCQs, within an hour could prove to be a disaster. hence, i've no choice but to use a slightly different approach to studying for this particular exam.life has been truly hectic that, it didn't occured to me at all that i will be turning a year older real soon, thanks to este who always perform that "hint-hint" stunt to everyone. somehow this year, it doesn't feel at all significant or exciting, especially when all my submissions are due during the week. but i'm fine --> like who cares about turning 22 anyway, well maybe a lot of people do - but considering the current state i'm in, i think i'm kidda excused from all the hype.
amidst all that, i somehow managed to squezze some breather time on tuesday. by some stroke of utter crazyness, my dad suddenly gave me the green light to drive to school. it was awesome, especially when i went out of school with salman and soefie, to make our way for "tea break" eating tauhuey at rochor. HAHA. i know, its like super wrong timing. but fun nonetheless, being lost, driving around in circles! salman eventually couldn't stay for the tauhueys cos of his essay submission that was due that very night.
we then visited LASALLE College of the Arts that was nearby and gosh, it was really awesome. in the middle of the building that was this indoor garden that had synthetic grass patches where many students chilled out and slack. it was really cool. we end up lying on our backs enjoying the pretty pretty sights of the architecture. very coool, especially with the silhouette that was formed thanks to the setting sun. and of course, we cam-whored. i mean, who wouldn't right?!
but we had to leave not long after, cos i had tuition at bukit panjang. luckily the traffic was nice to me - no massive jams or what nots, cos otherwise i would have been "scolded" by the manager at the tuition centre.
it was a much needed rest from a hectic week. "brainless excursions"
