OH MY GAWD.
WORK IS NEVER ENDING.

i am feeling it already. week 5 of the academic term. oh gosh, it's awfully stressful but i have to manage it somehow. and this is barely the peak of the semester! never mind, one thing at a time.

anyway, yeah due to the immense work load, i've decided to take time off to blog about a few issues. as you would probably have known, i have somewhat committed myself to the youth expedition project that is to be held in june, during the semester break. and because of that, i'll be involved in the islamic awareness week in NUS. more work for me. but it's all for a good cause. anw, met the people from the team to china and i have to say, they are slightly different from the usual set of friends that i hang out with. but i think it will be a good influence on me. i've been like so devil-ish laaa, relatively speaking. in general, they are really nice and have been very welcoming. and the best part is, i don't foresee any major conflicting ideas or difficult working relationships in the coming days, so: i'm great! OFF TO YUNNAN! :) oh, please do support me for the islamic awareness week! HAHAHA, like patronise my stall in school or something :)

SDE BASH. yes, i was involved as an unwilling participant for my faculty's annual pageant. i've said this many times and i still do hold strongly to my point of pageants. they are so superficial and it brings out the "fakeness" in people! and the irony of it all - i was part of it. oh god. nonetheless, i still had fun cos of the people in it and to a large extent i think i was the only one who gives the least preparation for it! HAHA. everything was like for that spur of the moment. nothing prepared at all. even the clothes i wore - my attitude was like, anything laa, whatever goes! the question and answer segment was really fun i think, cos i get to really speak my mind off about anything under the sun. and so, you can really predict what kind of answers i gave. nothing close to pageant-friendly responses. HAHAHA. but like i said, i had fun and i surprisingly enjoyed it.

ah, one more thing. somehow, i seriously do not know how. i was asked to be part of the marketing collateral photoshoot for the faculty's publicity in NUS freshman magazine. it was really quite fun, pretending to work with drafts and building models. and we had to go to numerous places for the shoot like esplanade, marina bay and fullerton. So, if all goes well, i'll appear in those publications for the new academic year that is specific to my course of study.

school has been hectic, but i'm still surviving. hopefully i'm able to sustain.

valentines day on saturday, and the influx of hearts, flowers, chocolates, cookies and song dedications have taken place in the respective corners of the school. quite annoying but i guess, the worst is yet to come, FRIDAY 13th - the eve of valentines day. so, what will i be doing on the 14th of FEB?? HAHAHA. Interestingly, i have a school fieldtrip to LITTLE INDIA for my Singapore Studies module. how interesting! (but seriously, i do love fieldtrips!)

thats about it.
