i'm somehow glad that the week has ended and recess week is here! i need the break, desperately. although i know that this coming recess week is gonna be packed with research + work, the only consolation is the fact that there's NO clementi mrt station, bus 96, bus 188 and NO SCHOOL. yeah balls.

i think my blog is so bare - no pictures from cam-whoring activities. urgh. so black and grey. there are so many "fun" things that i wanna do, but unfortunately no time. i need a life. i want to watch valkerie, redeem the STB passes for Singapore Flyer and Singapore River Cruises, have dinner at some slightly fancy place - cos it has ben a long time since i last did that with my friends, cycle and go johore eat seafood (a crazy idea from ilyas and carol - but knowing how boring my life is, i think i want to give it a shot! but seriously, can we not go there by foot? its so, unglam laa!)

so yeah, preparations for YEP hasn't been much except for the long hours of meetings at rather weird places, HAHA. and it just occured to me of the numerous tasks that lies ahead, yesterday! i hate the prep. i just wish i could skip all that pre expedition stuff and go straight to the trip!

speaking of prep work, i had to recce shops for the cheapest deals as part of our fund raising efforts and the past few days especially, have been tiring. i almost died walking under the blazing sun along bras basah road - and let me tell you something, there's really nothing there. all the hype about craft materials being sold at a dirt cheap price, no longer do exist.

then yesterday, i was supposed to meet a few of the YEP members to hunt for "kraft paper bags" for packaging at the Concourse, beach road. But apparently, no one was free except for soefie, who's in charge of publicity. So yeah, both of us had to make our way there from school, bearing high hopes that we will be able to find something cheap and good - and we even strategise as to how we are gonna go about searching the 4 storey complex. After like walking forever, we reached the place, only to realise that the entire complex has beed demolished to make way for a new condo - what are the odds man! the shops are now relocated to Tekka Mall, Little India. As, we were already late for the YEP meeting at boat quay Macs (i did tell you right, that the meetings were held at weird places?), we decided not to continue our hunt and thus make our way to the meeting place. AND it was BY FOOT. it was a long long walk - but it wasn't so bad cos i think i survived looking almost dead by the end of the meeting (1130pm) yesterday.

but it was fun, i think. HAHA.


i am so malas, can. and i need to send farah the details for my orders, asap. urgh.
it's never ending.
