You know, sometimes. As I looked back in retrospect. I doubt I have been grateful of most things that had happened: 2008 – a year that was insignificant? It was certainly a trying, tough year relative to many others. And I guess, that was the primary reason why I didn’t really feel proud about 2008. It could have been better, but after much thought, that was the best that could possibly happen.

And as I begin to re-read my “new year” post, I think I’ve not done justice to the past year. An insignificant year? Not so, now. Really.

What matters, is the fact that I survived it. And for that I’m truly now, grateful and thankful for all that has happened. They bear lessons and witness to the strengths that a person possesses in tough, trying times.
