ALRIGHT - BLACK/SILVER/GOLD partaayy!

it was for my dear cousin, shasha - her 21st b'dae celebration. i've decided to go for something shimmering, simple but still fun. here are the pics! and A BIG THANK YOU TO FYEDEE! thanks for lending me that humongous disco ball! i owe you one :) oh and thanks to ilyas for helping out with the mask! HAHAHA. and also thanks to all the cousins that helped out - EVERYONE, including the parents who played a major role in ensuring a sumptuous meal for the event. THANK YOU. oh yeah, and to shasha's friends as well who have been really cooperative! thanks :)

these are basically the materials - a hand made ipod touch replica, 2 disco balls, black drapes, matt balloons, crepe paper, lots of black/silver/gold paper and card board (donated by the popular bookstore, HAHA) btw, everything (decorations) was under 40 bucks!

the place all set up, in 3 hours. thanks to all who helped: haqiz for the black drapes, daniel/aqilah/wak ros/sheila/syahidah for the streamers and hafiz/danish for the balloon arch. oh and fahrul/syahidah for tagging along to by the stuffs!

everyone all set. SHASHA'S DAD: (through sms) THE EAGLE HAS LANDED. the code name for the birthday girl's arrival.

the ipod touch replica: thanks to fyedee for the inspiration. but this sure as hell takes like a lot of the prep time because the details were very important. it took 2 days to prepare. partly also because i was distracted by victoria's secret show on channel 5 on thurs! HAHAHA.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE. i really appreciate all the support needed to pull this off. an event which i thought would NEVER materialise. more importantly, shasha's parents who were extremely supportive and dedicated especially during the planning phase of the party. thank you to all. and i hope the birthday girl enjoyed HERSELF! cos we sure did enjoyed planning for this :)
